It looks like we had a bit of an incident in Virginia at a “No Kings” protest.
Joseph Checklick Jr. was charged for “driving into protestors”.

Here’s a quick summary of what we know so far:
A 21-year-old man, Joseph R. Checklick Jr., was arrested in Culpeper, Virginia, after allegedly driving his SUV through a crowd of protesters, striking at least one person.
The incident occurred during the “No Kings” protest held in a Walmart parking lot, part of a nationwide movement called the 50501 Movement opposing what organizers call “authoritarian” policies of President Trump.
Culpeper Police officers witnessed the act, stated it was intentional, and arrested Checklick on reckless driving charges. He is currently held without bond.
The protests were peaceful and wrapping up when Checklick allegedly accelerated into the dispersing crowd. No injuries were officially reported by late Saturday.
