One of the big things that President Donald Trump is doing to help American businesses is slashing regulations that have been strangling them and bringing industries back home to the U.S.
Trump gave us a big example of that on Thursday when he signed executive orders to assist the seafood industry from unfair foreign trade and U.S. regulations. He explained how we had millions of miles of fishing grounds, yet 90 percent of our seafood was imported, which makes no sense.
Trump signed a proclamation opening the Pacific Remote Marine National Monument to commercial fishing, helping the people of American Samoa and other islands by allowing American-flagged vessels to fish commercially within 50 to 200 miles of the monument’s boundaries.
