In this Wednesday episode of “How the Media Churns,” Secretary of Education Linda McMahon appeared on “CNN This Morning with Kasie Hunt,” and gave Hunt heartburn as she explained why Maine Governor Janet Mills has been placed under investigation for civil rights violations because of her insistence on allowing transgender athletes to compete in women and girl’s sports. Attorney General Pam Bondi also announced on Wednesday that the Department of Justice has filed a civil lawsuit against the State of Maine over these Title IX violations.
McMahon answered Hunt’s question and cogently described to Hunt why men who want to identify as female and compete on girls’ sports teams rob the girls of not just opportunity, but safety. Hunt’s lack of comprehension was such that McMahon had to reduce her explanation down to smaller words.
