Tucker Carlson commented on the developing rumors that he’s among the frontrunners to be President Trump’s running mate in the 2024 election.
According to Semafor, the former Fox News host spoke about possibly being Trump’s vice president at the American Principles Project Foundation’s annual Christmas gala.
Carlson gave a keynote speech about his “Christian faith, cheerfulness, and a country where ‘everything’s falling apart,’” Semafor noted.
When asked about an Axios report claiming Melania Trump was encouraging a Trump-Carlson ticket, the political commentator didn’t completely rule out the possibility.
“God would have to yell at me very loud,” Carlson said about being Trump’s running mate.
Per Semafor:
“I don’t know her, really,” said the former Fox News host, who has raised millions of dollars to launch a new media company. “To go from being, like, a well-paid street corner schizophrenic to, like, a politician — it’s just kind of hard to envision.” But there were cheers when Carlson didn’t fully rule it out.
Melania Trump is advocating for Tucker Carlson to be Trump’s VP.
I love the idea!
