While speaking on in Las Vegas on Friday, President Biden vowed to spend a hefty “billion 300 million trillion 300 million dollars” on infrastructure investments over the next decade.
The president made the bold proclamation after taking shots at his predecessor, former President Donald Trump, stating that he “failed” to invest in America’s infrastructure. “Four years of infrastructure week, but it failed. He failed. On my watch, instead of infrastructure week, America is having infrastructure decade,” Biden declared. “Over a billion 300 million trillion 300 million dollars!”
The president went on to add that Trump “doesn’t know what the hell he’s talking about” when referring to America as a “failing nation” due to surging inflation, the collapse of the southern border and a number of other crises that have arisen under Biden’s tenure.
Elsewhere in the speech, Biden told one of his signature stories, this time sharing the tale of a “crotchety old son of a gun” named “McCullough.”
