Alpha News’s Liz Collin provided updates on Derek Chauvin on Human Events with Jack Posobiec Friday and revealed that Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison received an update on Derek Chauvin’s condition before his family did after he had been stabbed 22 times in prison by a fellow inmate.
Collin reported that Chauvin was attacked from behind while making copies of his case files in the law library of the federal prison he had been moved to, located in Tucson, Arizona.
She painted a brutal picture of the attack.
“Every time that he would try to fight this guy off,” Collin said, “he would be stabbed again by this makeshift knife that he was using.”
She noted that he is now using a walker as he is healing from horrific injuries and is lucky to have even survived the attack.
