Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the newly confirmed U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services, shared that President Donald Trump has requested that he “study the safety” of the abortion drug mifepristone. During an interview on Fox News’s “The Ingraham Angle“ last Thursday, Kennedy explained that the president asked him to “study the safety signals“ of the abortion pill, also known as Mifepristone.
“I think that is worth doing,“ Kennedy said.
He noted how the information about the potential harms caused by the drug were suppressed during the Biden administration, The Christian Post reports.
“During the Biden administration, the [National Institutes of Health] did something that was inexcusable, which is to tell doctors and patients not to report injuries,“ he said. “That’s not a good policy.”
Kennedy also stressed the need for “spiritual realignment“ to overcome addiction and other health challenges in the United States.
“We’re not just in a health crisis, but we’re in a spiritual crisis,“ he said, reiterating the thought he shared in his confirmation hearing last week.
