Actress Patricia Heaton, best known for starring in the sitcom “Everybody Loves Raymond,” says she is on a mission to defend Israel in opposition to Hamas. In an interview with CBN News, Heaton said she was prompted to take action after “seeing horrendous videos of terrorists butchering Israeli civilians, children, babies, the elderly — families being burned alive, people being beheaded” when Hamas attacked Israel on October 7, 2023.
While she was “shocked” by what she saw, Heaton was surprised by the “silence” as well as the support for Hamas despite assuming the “rest of the world would be outraged.”
“Campuses exploded in pro-terrorist rallies with printed signs, and flags, and keffiyehs, all at the ready — immediately afterward,” Heaton said. “And I thought, ‘Why is this any different from the Holocaust? Why is this different from Paris when the editors of the Charlie Hebdo newspaper were slaughtered?'”
