In Tuesday’s chaotic House hearing, a sharp exchange unfolded between Rep. Summer Lee (D-PA) and star collegiate swimmer Riley Gaines. Lee accused Gaines of “transphobic bigotry” for opposing the participation of transgender women (biological men) in women’s sports.
