Kid Rock called out former First Lady Michelle Obama for snubbing President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration ceremony.
“She seems a little angry,” Rock said on Jesse Watters Primetime on Thursday night.
Rock, who is a vocal Trump supporter, recalled when he was tasked with performing at the Youth Inaugural Ball hours after former President Barack Obama was first sworn into office in 2009.
The 5-time Grammy nominee, 54, agreed to the gig at the Hilton Washington alongside rapper Kanye West and rock band Fall Out Boy out of “respect for the president.”
“I would kindly remind her that years back when Obama was first elected, I did not vote for him. But they asked me to play the Inauguration. And I played it and I went,” the rocker said. “I had a good time. I went out of respect for the President so I would kindly remind Michelle about that.”
Obama, 61, is set to snub the inauguration at the Capitol after she skipped out on former President Jimmy Carter’s funeral last week in Washington, DC.
