THE KIBBUTZ of an OAP farmer, kindergarten teacher, and volunteer worker has revealed that all three have been “murdered” after being taken hostage by Hamas.
Kibbutz Nir Oz has claimed that the elderly farmer Aryeh Zalmanovich, 85, kindergarten teacher Maya Goren 56, and volunteer worker Ronen Engel, 54, were all murdered by the Hamas militant group.

Maya had been setting up the Kibbutz kindergarten space early on October 7, when the community came under attack.
Homes were burned, roughly 180 of the 400 residents were killed, and many civilians were abducted.
The Kibbutz’s security team battled with Hamas for nearly 11 hours, after which the IDF troops arrived and evacuated all remaining civilians.
Maya’s husband Avner was killed immediately, but Maya had been considered a hostage until this point.
