Disney’s “The Santa Clauses’ Winter Wonderland”, a rooftop attraction on New York City’s Pier 17 at the South Street Seaport, was touted by an aggressive marketing campaign as the city’s “most magical holiday attraction of the season,” quite a boast in the home of Rockafeller Center and Radio City Music Hall. But parents in the five boroughs are boiling on social media describing the experience as “frustrating,” “dangerous,” and “a sh*t show.”
According to The New York Post, the attraction featured a “tiny” ice-skating rink, a skinny Santa who didn’t fill out the suit, and most troublingly a “dangerous” slide that was allegedly shut down after a child was injured riding it. Adults and other children also reported minor injuries and discomfort after riding the slide.
