Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) said an innocent woman passed away in an automobile accident involving a police officer responding to a threat at her home.
“The Rome Police Department’s Assistant Chief of Police received an email containing a bomb threat directed at Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene,” Greene’s office stated in a press release on Monday.
“We are pleased to report that Congresswoman Greene is safe. She extends her heartfelt gratitude to the Rome Police Department for their swift and professional response in ensuring her safety,” it added.
“The Rome Police Department’s Assistant Chief of Police received an email containing a bomb threat directed towards me,” Greene said Monday.
“I’m so grateful to every member of the Rome Police Department for your swift and professional response in ensuring my safety,” she added.
