In an interview with Fox News, Republican Senator John Kennedy of Louisiana offered a very candid critique of Vice President Kamala Harris and President Joe Biden for their lack of preparation and authenticity.
Kennedy quipped, “A cynic might say that, based on her performances, that English is not her first, second, third, or even fourth language.”
The Senator, who served with Harris on the Senate Judiciary Committee, stressed the importance of authenticity in political communication. “I think sound advice for anyone, politician or not, is always be yourself unless you suck. And if you suck, have enough self-awareness to know you suck and try to do better.”
Turning his attention to Biden, Kennedy pointed out that many Americans are concerned about the President’s mental and physical condition, given his age. “I think a majority of Americans believe that President Biden has aged a lot in the last two years. Many Americans believe that he can’t finish a sentence without taking a nap.”
