Speaker Mike Johnson’s release of 44,000 hours of footage from Jan. 6, 2021, nearly broke the internet on Friday night, with countless videos surfacing on social media countering the Democrats’ “insurrection” narrative.
One video shared by social media influencer Benny Johnson appears to show Capitol Police officers removing restraints from a protestor before fist bumping and releasing him.
I don’t think Capitol Police would take restraints off of a protester, FIST BUMP him, and then let him go if this were an actual “insurrection”
Another video shows a Capitol Police officer shaking hands with a protestor and patting him on the back before walking through the hall among other protestors and officers who appear unconcerned about the situation.
Capitol Police were giving handshakes to protesters.
