A couple of weeks ago, we discussed the bizarre case of Dexter Wade, a Mississippi man who was reportedly killed when a police cruiser accidentally ran him down as he was attempting to cross a highway in the dark. The police claimed that Wade had no ID on him and they couldn’t locate the family (who had been looking for him and calling the missing persons hotline) for months. Despite having a prescription bottle with his name on it, they said they finally gave up and buried him in an unmarked grave in a pauper’s cemetery. Not only was Wade buried without his family being informed, but once his identity was made public, they exhumed him without notifying the family either. And according to the most recent report, it turns out that Wade did have his state ID on him when he was buried. Needless to say, the family has a lot of questions and believes this is sounding more and more like a coverup. (NY Post)
