Hundreds of energized college students at the University of Arizona this week chanted “WE WANT TRUMP” along with the rapper Lil Pump during a performance that reportedly took place on campus.
Video of the rapper leading the chant went viral online, with conservatives weighing in on the impact of seeing young, college-aged Americans unashamed to voice their support for the 45th president.
Trump ally and Arizona Republican U.S. Senate candidate Kari Lake wrote on X, “Rapper Lil Pump leads ‘We want Trump’ chant at the University of Arizona last night. ALL Arizonans are tired of the destructive Dems.”

Lil Pump surprised everyone in 2020 when he endorsed President Donald Trump amid his reelection bid. According to Newsweek, he announced his endorsement on social media, heavily criticizing Joe Biden for what he predicted would be more tax increases.
While some may be surprised to see Arizona college students chanting, “WE WANT TRUMP,” recent polling has found that Joe Biden is remarkably unpopular with young voters.
